Aranha Ilustrações Daniel Mesquita

About

2D illustrator focused on turning concepts into visual narratives that hook the reader from the very first page. With 5+ years across the Brazilian and international markets, I take a project from the first character concept all the way to a finished comic or illustrated book.

Where the art ended up

Illustration doesn't end at the delivered file. A few places this work has reached:

  • Montage of Go Up Festival Tejuçuoca 2024 merchandise: a man wears the pink t-shirt with the climber illustration, the back of the shirt shows organiser and sponsor logos, and beside it are the tote bag and mug with the same artwork

Go Up Festival — Tejuçuoca, 2024

The illustration became the t-shirt, tote bag and mug of the first climbing festival in Ceará, Brazil.

  • Screenshot of the news section of the Assim Fala a Benzedeira website, with two illustrated articles: one showing two women in white standing in the sea under the moon, another in black and white showing figures at a celebration

    Assim Fala a Benzedeira

The illustrations run alongside the site's articles, among them "Festa de Iemanjá 2026 e a força dos Orixás" and "Previsões 2026".

How I work

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

A first conversation over WhatsApp to understand your story, what you want out of it, and to go through your references. This is where we dig into your idea before structuring anything — so that what comes out actually looks like you.

  2. 02

    Proposal & briefing

Within 48 hours I send a quote drawn up for what you specifically need. Every project is different, so this is where we agree together on how we will work — expectations and next steps, set out for your project rather than a template.

  3. 03

    Creation

The work happens four hands at a time. You see the sketches and approve each phase before we move on. The revision flow adapts to what your project needs, so you keep control of the result at every step of the way.

  4. 04

    Final delivery

At the end you get every file organised and in exactly the format you need. No headaches over technical settings: whether it goes straight to the printer, online, or to your animation team, it arrives clean and ready to use.
